The Yankees announced Friday that Phil Hughes will comeback from injury, to start Saturday, against the Detroit Tigers. David Phelps was scheduled to pitch Saturday, but he will now move to the bullpen, as the long relief man.

The Yankees bullpen has been worked in an abundance to begin the year. With Sabathia, Kuroda, and Nova not getting off to hot starts, its important that Hughes gets off on the right foot.

Hughes was out for most of the spring, dealing with a buldging disc in his back. He recently pitched 7 innings in a rehab start, for the Class A Tampa Yankees.

It's currently unknown, who will be removed from the 25-man roster, to make room for Hughes.
