After sweeping their division foe Toronto Blue Jays in 4 games over the weekend, the Yankees now have a perfect chance to add to that win streak with the Houston Astros coming to town for a 3 game set starting Monday night.

The Yankees played the comeback card in all four games against the Jays over the weekend. After Travis Hafners game winning RBI triple in the 7th inning of Saturday's game, Lyle Overbay came thought with a 2-run homerun off R.A. Dickey in the 7th inning of Sundays game.

The Yankees lost 2 more players due to injury on Friday. Francisco Cervelli fractured for right hand after a foul ball drill him. Cervelli underwent surgery on Saturday and is expected to miss at least 6 weeks.

Ivan Nova left in the 3rd inning of Friday's game with what an MRI later revealed to be inflammation in his right elbow. Nova has been place on the DL and David Phelps is expected to start in his place on Wednesday.

The Astros are finishing their 7 game road trip in the Bronx. They are coming in after being swept by the Red Sox in 4 games in which they gave up at least 6 runs in all four games. For a team that strikes out a lot, the Yankees pitchers will have a dandy time facing such a low contact team.

Probable starters:

Mon: Harrell vs Pettitte
Tues: Humber vs Kuroda
Wed: Berdard vs Phelps
