With the 362nd pick (12th round) in the MLB Draft, the Yankees selected another college guy, first baseman Chris Gittens out of Grayson County College, a Junior College school.

Grittens' stat page on the official JuCo website says that he was also a pitcher in college, but the Yankees drafted him as a first baseman, so it seems like that's where he play as he tries to work his way through the farm system.

He's a big guy at 6-2, 250 pounds and hit .404 this past season with Greyson County, hitting three homeruns and driving in 42 runs in 41 games.
