The Yankees' offense is struggling right now and is throwing too many "let's not score any runs" parties. There is plenty of blame to go around, and a handful of people to throw it at.

1-for-17 with runners in scoring position on Sunday was pretty atrocious, as the Yankees were only able to produce one run through a countless number of scoring chances.

Derek Jeter, for one, has been awful lately, hitting .115 (3-for-26) over the past week. Joe Girardi really needs into moving him down in the lineup because he is not helping the Yankees at all, and that's what matters to Jeter. Just because it's Jeter, that doesn't mean he has to bat second every game, Joe.

Tonight's lineup at Kansas City:

Brett Gardner CF
Derek Jeter SS
Mark Teixeira 1B
Alfonso Soriano RF
Yangervis Solarte 3B
Brian McCann C
Carlos Beltran DH
Ichiro Suzuki LF
Brendan Ryan 2B

LHP Vidal Nuno

It's raining right now at the ballpark, and it has been all day with no stop in sight, according to the weather reports. Let's see if they get this game in.
