After finishing up a successful 7-3 homestand on Sunday, the Yankees took their Monday off-day to travel to the mile high city of Denver, Colorado for a three game series with the Rockies.

Both of these teams can hit the ball out of the park and the thin Coors Fields air will certainly play to be a factor in this series. The Yankees starters have been pitching well this season but you can also expect them to have a tough time facing a Rockies lineup that leads the league in batting average.

Given the coldness of the temperatures that the Yankees are likely going to see for the 1st time this year, manager Joe Girardi says that he doesn't have a plan for the Yankees pitchers when they get called on the pitch in such frigid climate.

We currently don't know whether or not Eduardo Nunez will return to the Yankees lineup Tuesday night. Nunie left in the middle of Sunday's loss to the A's. he was taken to undergo and MRI which later showed only some tightness in his right ribs and he was listed as day to day.

David Roberstson was also listed as day to day after suffering a slight hamstring pull last Wednesday against the Astros. The Yankees were hoping that he could return today in Colorado. He was playing catch Saturday and Sunday at Yankee Stadium.

"I don't see why I wouldn't be ready," said Robertson. He's still on the active roster, so a move will not need to be made to bring him back.

Probable starters:

Tue: Kuroda (4-1, 2.25) vs De La Rosa (2-3, 4.18)
Wed: Phelps (1-1, 5.56) vs Nicaslo (3-0, 4.91)
Thur: Sabathia (4-3, 3.31) vs Francis (1-2, 7.27)
